Our Choreographic and Dance Intensive is back for its fifth edition this 15 - 17 April 2026. Ngari Ngali-Wahlu (we dance) is our offering to connect to our large extended dance family across Australia and abroad.

Ngari Ngali-Wahlu will be led by an all First Nations facilitation team;

The Choreographic and Dance Intensive will occur in two parts;

Part 1 - First Nations Intensive

The first day (15th April) will be for First Nations participants only, looking at connection to country, choreographic processes and how Karul creates work.

Part 2 - Everyone Intensive

The next two days (16th and 17th April) are open for everyone and will focus on movement and choreographic exploration with Karul and our guest facilitators.

This intensive will be best suited to those studying dance, professional dance artists and those with a movement based practice.

We will be situated on Minjungbal Jogun, Coolangatta on the Gold Coast, QLD.

This dance intensive operates as a first in, best dressed application and spaces are limited. The application form is now open and will close midnight of the 13th April or until all spots are full.
